Living Philippines or         One View of the Philipines

As the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup starts in the next days in Manila Philippines, I decided to share my thoughts about Philipines and it’s people.

Just now, as I started to write the above few words, my PC’S writing program (probably popularly called AI)suggested, proposed for me to use the words Resources(mineral etc..) and/or Riches(Gold etc..) after I wrote Philippines. No mention about the most important resource… and richness… THE PEOPLE OF THE BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY OF PHILIPPINES. No AI suggestion about the PEOPLE! It looked like that those who programed algorithms and filled the AI with data, as those who are financing them, forgot to mention simple word PEOPLE. So, i decided to write the word PEOPLE many times, PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES, just to distract the AI and any algorithm. I am not surprised about it at all as I saw and recognised many of those that use charming smile, white hair look thinking that it gives weight to the authority of their words, wearing nice suits, using sweet words, while positioning themselves to grab as many profits as possible by manipulation and corruption. Unintentionally, the warning has been given by the same technology from the start. What I want to say, and strongly point out is that only deeds matter, actually only the words followed by deeds matter. That’s the universal law we forgot. Everything else is pure propaganda.

What I can say, again, with all certainty as it is confirmed with my experience, is that the MOST IMPORTANT AND THE GREATEST RESOURCE PHILIPPINES HAS ARE THE PEOPLE, THE PHILIPINOS! To them I present my warmest greetings with utmost respect and deep affection.

Philipinos are “crazy” about basketball! Believe it or not every place has its basketball competition and as I could see from some private videos, every game is played as it is the NBA final or, if you think I exaggerate, then we can settle with Conference Finals. In those games family matters! Family and close friends. Everything is included, like teasing of the players of another team that happened to be far relatives of the other team. Pre as well as post match drinks are included in this, I would call it, a beautiful entertaining spectacle. Of course it can not pass without complains towards the referees that, as they think, have done bad judgment. The complaints are being done mostly by passionate ladies who’s husbands, ex and current, as well as brothers, cousins etc.. it doesn’t matter, became the “victims” of poor referee calls. Very passionate people, and I love it!

They make unique atmosphere that confirms their love for the game and many other things I will emphasise later. What is certain, and what my intuition is informing me is that Philipines and Philipinos will be amazing and definitely memorable hosts for the Fiba 2023 World Basketball Cup.

Living Philipines and Philipinas and Philipinos does not necessarily mean that you need to live in Philipines. One, as me, can feel Philipines and it’s people being far away from that magnificent place as Philipinas and Philipinos can be found nearly everywhere in the world. They are an absolute champions in organising their community everywhere and many of other nationalities can learn about it from this hard working, dedicated people.

I will not apply statistics about how many Philipinas and Philipinos work abroad and in which countries, as each statistical point degrades and eventually kills the subtle human feelings of the purpose of exsistance that is, believe it, so genuine and unique and pure when you get to know better the people from Philipines. Both, as I said , very hard working woman and men. They can be explained for those that would like to learn, as emotional, proud, humble, well educated, highly common sensed, inteligent, very curious, awake, gullible because of their innate goodness, dedicated, compassionate with open souls and so high level of virtues that are much more significant than any systemic education received. No one has anything against education, but education not taught vertically but horizontally. Wide is better then deep. Think about that.

However, I can confirm that the people from Philipines are the masters of virtues and all of them are genuine and passionate patriots. They know who and how and why used them and robbed their natural resources but from their innate goodness they are patient as they very much believe in karma. And believe it again or not, their karma works.

Philipinos posses practical and very healthy human values as they still maintain strong family ties. That, the strong family ties, are the result of their hard life and constant struggle for survival. For me it was a revelation and an alluring surprise that most of the Philipinos are using much more their intuition than their instinct.

What does that mean, you might ask, and here is the short explanation that might help.

We have four stages of human behaviour.

Instincts, Intuition, Habit and Intelect.

Depending of what is dominant we can recognise four types of mentality.

Let’s start

1- if the mind of a man denies intuition, and is not guided by intuition, while serves only for instincts, both the conditional and unconditional, that mentality can be called an ANIMAL TYPE.

2- if the mind of the man is serving just to habit of automaticity, and denies an intuition, that mentality can be called ZOMBIE – Here many use another expression- SHEEP.

3- if the mind of a man is skilfully managing habits, automaticity and instincts but denies the intuition, this mentality can be called DEMON as that man is proud of his intelligence, his will, and has an idea that he is better then majority of the others. Another name could be NARCISSIST.

4- if the man is only a PERSON, has a human psyche, skillfully manages his intuition and habit and his activities are guided by intuitive insight(conscience), that mentality can be called HUMAN.

To conclude, the determinant of human behavior and acceptance of solutions, including the management activity, is not the sum of his or hers knowledge that is in the head, but the type of mentality that person belongs to. This is the concept for all people.

What I can confirm concerning my experience with this unique, memorable and highly hospitable genuine human beings, the people of Philipines, with all pros and cons, life experiences, their pain and happiness, their tears of joy and tears of sorrow and all the other reactions, they, at least for me, belong to the group of THE HUMAN TYPE OF MENTALITY, a rare thing in todays world.

To share just one recent conversation I had with one of the dear persons from Philipines, with hope that it will be received well, goes as follows. When I asked what are her goals in life I immediately got the following answer: “to inspire others.”

Wouldn’t be nice for us as human beings to have the purpose to inspire others without asking anything for ourselves? Do not be afraid as universe and karma works! Philipinos know that all bad things are easy and that beautiful things are hard to get. That patience and belief in self as well as understanding that the one is happy who does not carry envy as a companion is the key to fulfilment.

I am delighted that, in the last couple of years I got the opportunity to enrich my relation with many people from Philipines who humbly provided me with more of the wisdom and more of the patience to achieve more life understanding. Not to mention absolutely amazing tasty food! All of them, all of you who know me, contributed to the process of my fulfilment as a human being.

Wish you all the best of luck and success in organising the 2023 Fiba Basketball World Cup, and of course all the happiness and love and fulfilment for you and your loved ones. Even to those you do not love wish luck, as I know that you have a soul big enough to host all the world!
