“We live today in the world where people do not listen to each other.”

Yesterday, I listened to the speech of the man representing a small country that revealed many deeply important information and projected, rather shared, his views about the future!

“What we can do not to worsen the situation in the world?”

“When you have propaganda that always has to appear as the truth, either you follow it, either immediately you become an adversary or an opponent of those that are empowered to be always right and truthful.”

He was speaking of the idea of democracy established in the west as the lighthouse that attracted all others, both big and small( countries), to join the side of the West. 

This has been changing in the last forty years, and the world in 2024 is completely unrecognisable from the world in 2000.

“We ( coming from the west part) did not notice how the Asian societies changed and progressed, or we did not want to notice as only one flag of democracy could fly, and it is the western one!

We lied to both ourselves and them that we wanted them to accept the same model and supposedly the same values. “

So called “merit based values.”

Then, when you ask those from the west, EU, what are the values, the main answer was “market economy,” prerequisite for the real democracy and new political system that those countries aspiring to join EU wanted to build. In the end, what happened just a few years ago, and here in Switzerland? 2015, we started listening from the EU circles that the market economy is not anymore the basic value for the societies. We should now defend our markets, introduce new tariffs, apply protectionism, and that market economy flag was taken by Chinese!

“In 2016, if I am not mistaken, I remember President Xi Jinpings’ words in Davos. He exactly took the flag of the market economy from the Americans and from all of us in Europe, saying that we are embracing globalisation and market economy, and everything went, turned upside-down.” The Chinese, accepting all the regulations and rules of the west, grow and at the end the west wanted to remain dominant started changing rules, and introducing protective measures.  Today, when we talk about economies, nobody discuses growth rates and how to boost our economies. But we talk about protective measures…

He talked about the hypocrisy of the leaders and revealed that a minimum of two leaders from EU talked secretly to  Mr. Putin. After they were criticising Mr. Orban, the Hungarian Prime minister, who openly visited and openly talked to the Russian President Mr. Vladimir Vladimirovic Putin.

He emphasised the importance of  communicating and listening to each other.

He spoke with all sides and concluded that no one wanted peace at this time!

Also, he projected that the only solution to the Ukraine Russia conflict is to set up new rules that will be strictly followed by all. European leaders did not take it seriously, but after Mr. Putin mentioned himself the same idea they asked him how he knew that. …

He also warned that we might be disappointed with the priorities of the new USA administration…
