Revival of Washington Post

Just saw an email that Mr. Jeff Bezos  sent to the WP staff, where he stated that

We are going to be writing every day in support and defense of two pillars: personal liberties and free markets.”

Below is his full message on X

“I shared this note with the Washington Post team this morning:

I’m writing to let you know about a change coming to our opinion pages.

We are going to be writing every day in support and defense of two pillars: personal liberties and free markets. We’ll cover other topics too of course, but viewpoints opposing those pillars will be left to be published by others.

There was a time when a newspaper, especially one that was a local monopoly, might have seen it as a service to bring to the reader’s doorstep every morning a broad-based opinion section that sought to cover all views. Today, the internet does that job.

I am of America and for America, and proud to be so. Our country did not get here by being typical. And a big part of America’s success has been freedom in the economic realm and everywhere else. Freedom is ethical — it minimizes coercion — and practical — it drives creativity, invention, and prosperity.

I offered David Shipley, whom I greatly admire, the opportunity to lead this new chapter. I suggested to him that if the answer wasn’t “hell yes,” then it had to be “no.” After careful consideration, David decided to step away. This is a significant shift, it won’t be easy, and it will require 100% commitment —  I respect his decision. We’ll be searching for a new Opinion Editor to own this new direction.

I’m confident that free markets and personal liberties are right for America. I also believe these viewpoints are underserved in the current market of ideas and news opinion. I’m excited for us together to fill that void.

Jeff”

The excitement of Mr. Bezos is shared by a huge majority of Americans and people outside of it who stopped reading WP due to the lack of giving the choice to the readers. The choice to read different opinions and decide by themselves using their sharpened common sense about what to believe and follow. That is called freedom, not propaganda.

Mr. Bezos decided, rightly, to let the one-sided propaganda pass away and to introduce or reintroduce common sense and options.

He is reintroducing the possibility for America to regain its soft power and be the source of inspiration for the whole world. That is another step for Making America Great Again.

Washington Post will also become an awaking point for all those blinded by the corrupted media that have only one aim – to brainwash people minds after which is easy to instruct them to consciously or subconsciously what or whom to support, what to eat, whom to vote for, how to walk, how to sleep and who knows what else.

In a word, WP will be fighting for the people awaking contributing to Making America Great Again.

Mr. Bezos understood that there was no way back, only forward, because America is back and needs to be protected!

The best protection is to promote simple common sense freedom. Because as Mr. Bezos said, “Freedom is ethical — it minimizes coercion — and practical — it drives creativity, invention, and prosperity.”

Three things that the previous WP was not pursuing.

Wishing all the success to the Washington Post and Mr. Bezos personally. He will easily find replacement for all those who are not ready to pursue the path of freedom.
