I published the post about the coup in Niger immediately after it happened. I also mentioned the new leader of Burkina Faso, Ibrahim Traore. He became the youngest African leader! Then I started the post of “Africa for Africans,” but let it stay unpublished. To be honest, I was awaiting the time to show that Africa is increasingly becoming the place for Africans first! I was considering the practical implementation of the vision of different African leaders. I wondered how it would improve the everyday life of Africans. Then, after Mr. Ibrahim Traore visit to Russia for the 80th Victory Day Anniversary, and his stance there, I decided to mention it here!

As simple as that. Africa for Africans. Colossal changes are happening in the most beautiful and rich continent of Africa. People are awaking and inspiring new leaders to emerge. Characteristically, the youngest leader of Africa is Mr. Ibrahim Traore of Burkina Faso aged 34. He and his allies in Mali and Guinea, realized that Africa has all it needs to feed its people. It can also do business with the whole world due to its huge reserves in minerals and ores. But, that amazing potential has not been used to improve the lives of the African countries’ rising population. Instead, it has been given for next to nothing to former colonial powers through corrupt government officials. Then, things started to change with the entrance of China and return of Russia into the African continent.

It is not about giving anything for free to new regimes. Instead, it is the exercising of the normal business procedures. This is where everyone can and will win the fair share of any business venture agreed. That was the aim of the recent Russia-Africa Summit held at St. Petersburg on 27 and 28 July 2023. Africa is so rich that it does not need to beg anyone for food in the coming years. It has potential to become a major exporter of different products, not only raw materials. Africa needs machines and educated patriots, engineers, machines, and know how. But it needs them from the countries who are ready to deal with that on an equal basis. Russia, under the leadership of President Putin, is one of those.

The youngest African leader recognized that. In 2023, the 34-year-old Captain Ibrahim Traore became the president of Burkina Faso!

In February 2023, Burkina Faso expelled French forces that were assisting in fighting the local insurgency. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Ibrahim Traore in 2014 participated at a United Nations peacekeeping force in neighboring Mali war. He was cited in 2018 as one of the MINUSMA soldiers. He “showed courage” during major rebel attacks in one of the Mali regions. From that time, he recognized the depth of corruption. He developed a vision of making his people of Burkina Faso independent. He also aspired for the whole of Africa to be free of corruption and blackmail. He never wanted to beg anyone for help. Rather, he was ready to make deals with sensible countries. These countries recognize the sovereignty and integrity of Burkina Faso and are not as greedy as the previous colonial power!

He wants to exploit Burkina Faso’s resources in fair ways. These resources include gold, copper, iron, manganese, phosphates, and cassiterite. Now, even tremendous oil reserves have been found by Russia!

Ibrahim Traore, Burkina Faso President is increasingly becoming a leader that all Africa is watching! Africans see in Mr.Ibrahim Traore the hope for improving their lives and the flywheel of future progress! That is why he is dangerous for the old, corrupted African establishment and ex colonial powers!

But Mr.Traore has a very serious ally! President Putin and Russian Federation!

President Traore is now 37 years old. He is presenting us with the truth. He gives us the idea of how our own states should develop and work for the good of the people!

He mentioned military and army! He said that without the strong Army country can not be sovereign and develop economy, education and general health. Without strong military one country can not be called sovereign and independent!

His speech during the meeting with President Putin, who sent Russian state plane he also uses, to bring President Traore to Moscow despite pressures from French and USA armies, is remarkable!

He stated that Africa should be its own boss, and to stand tall! He said that he does not beg for money but that he wants to team up with Russia in building schools, producing electricity, learning about new technologies! He wants to jointly with Russia build factories, grow Burkina Faso own food and not be dependent on anyone! He wants assistance in security forces and Army training!

Africa was long in need for the leader as young Ibrahim Traore! He has the talent, wisdom, and strength to develop Burkina Faso. Now, he has an extremely powerful and serious ally. That of President Putin and Russian Federation!

Future is in making as the world is irreversibly changing!
