Photo presented at this post I share reminded me of one event that happened during the visit of Mr. Sergei Shoigu then a Minister Of Defence of Russia to Japan. He visited the grave of legendary German, and then Soviet inteligence officer, Richard Sorge who sent two crucial messages to Stalin. One was the exact date of the German attack, and the other that Stalin believed was that Japan would not attack Soviet Union! This second one was crucial to move all those far east divisions to Moscow! That is how Marchal Zhukov managed to defend the capital and change the course of the war! Mr. Shoigu paid tribute to Mr. Sorge! Very important detail!
