Numbers give us a beautiful way to see the world differently. That is why, in our education system, we are not taught about their beauty. There are no more lessons from alluring, catchy, attractive mathematics connected with real-life stories. Neither there are many teachers left who love what they do and have the ability to initiate the young generation to simply THINK WITH THEIR OWN BRAIN and not the AI or Google, or Wikipedia or any other big data “brains.”
If young generations were encouraged to think for themselves, they would know simple multiplying from 1 to 100. They would research the numbers by themselves. That would bring them to certain conclusions. These conclusions would not serve the aim of hidden hand and conceptual power. This power keeps us all discussing and arguing between LIE 1 and LIE 2. As a result, we would, or better, we became unable to distinguish the truth! The simple real truth.
Let me tell you a story that happened a long time ago before we go to some more numbers. If children learn it, the story could impact their world view. It could enhance their ability to discover manipulation methods. Consequently, they would find and understand the truth. All that process would make the young generations the source of new, natural, human, progressive ideas! That is where the danger for the conceptual power lies. Thus, the educational programs of today.
So, dear friends, the XVIII( 18th) century was near the end. In one small town in the Lower Saxony, the kids were attending primary school. Those were lively, mischievous, and very intelligent kids. Most of them were looking at the stars. They imagined about the universe and life. They pondered the purpose for existence and played with their thoughts…
Their teachers often feel distressed. They do not know what to do to keep the students focused. The teachers want an easy, quiet time in the classroom. Many of them, like today, were just doing their job. They didn’t care much about what the children thought. They also didn’t consider what kind of future the students would have. The only thing they want is for them to be quiet and disciplined. So, their maths professor came up with an idea. He wanted to keep them busy so he could relax with his newspaper. He ordered that class to add all numbers from 1 to 100 and let him know the result. He did not tell them that he, as a professor of mathematics, did not know the result.
So, when they started to add numbers 1+2=3+3=6+4=10+5=15+6=21…. he started, relaxed and so self-satisfied, to read newspaper as the classroom was so quiet that only the one stray fly could be heard.
But, here came THE SURPRISE!
In less than 10 minutes, one boy started shouting! Professor, professor, I found the result! The professor got angry. He arrogantly asked the child what the result was. Then, he asked the child to explain how he got it!
So, the child said
Professor, the result is 5050!
The professor was now intrigued. He himself did not know the result. He asked how the child came to that number.
So, Carl, that was the name of the pupil, said.
I looked into the matter. I found out that the best and easiest way to find the result is to “marry” the numbers.
I connect 1 and 100, 2 and 99, 3 and 98, 4 and 97, 5 and 96….
If you connect them, you get 101. How many couples of 101 do we have in the range from 1 to 100? The result is 50. So I multiplied 50 with 101, and I got 5050.
The history did not remember the ne of the professor, but it will always be remembering CARL FRIEDRICH GAUSS, the man who contributed to very many fields of mathematics and generally the science. He was also an astronomer, geodesic, and physicist, and yes, he was looking at the stars during nights.
This example is the perfect one to show the rest of us that finding solutions requires a different way of thinking from the way of thinking taught tonmany of us in the educational system of today.
Now, let’s only see the following numbers, and I will let you analyse them by yourself… Of course, only if you want, or if you “have time” because you are “so busy” and can not lose your valuable time that makes you what?
