What could you do differently?

Recently, I was a good customer of the local police regarding the seat belt violation of the existing law. I tried to explain my idea to the very nice and humble policemen executing it. In vain. But recently, I finally managed to get it out! What?

I managed to spread the idea with one of the judges and one of the lawyers. Both are common-sense people who were prepared to LISTEN!

So, what is the idea that I think should be done differently?

My proposal follows the thought of common sense and freedom of choice!

At the same time, the responsibility for the car driver will be increasing. Their interaction with passengers is also becoming more important!

Proposal is:

1. The driver is free to choose whether to wear or not the seat belt. This exercise of freedom of choice for the driver’s life. If the driver thinks he cannot perform his duties as a driver with the seat belt, then he is not obliged to wear one. If he feels freer to move and breathe while driving, he is not obliged to wear a seat belt!
2. At the same time, the driver must ensure all passengers wear seat belts. By accepting the driver, passengers also agree to the car’s security measures. So, all passengers should have their seat belts on! If they do not accept it, then the driver needs to demand that they leave the car. If they still stay in the car and the driver accepts to have them inside, the driver will be solely responsible. The driver will face a fine three times higher than the current fines in the particular country! If this happens more than once, the driver will be sent to the criminal court. As a second-time offender, the driver could get a jail sentence.

Those can be the basic principles for the current law to change. Many of the drivers lose their concentration with the seat belts. Some face a serious problem of breathing, especially during hot periods, even with the AC working…

When presenting this simple idea, I received a comment. It states that the idea is logical. It also presents a good basis to start a wide discussion in society!
