With pleasure, I share a Sunday thought of my friend Betűl:
Enjoy as I did!
“Sometimes one begins to think by being silent.
Because as words multiply, truth retreats.
The weather is sunny today.
The sky is clear.
Light, gradually falling upon earth.
And my eyes are turning red.
On days like this one remembers hope easier. Because sometimes the sun illuminates not only the weather, but also the inside.
But yet this era speaks more than enough.
but the truth still speaks in whispers
The eye that once sees the truth, needs nothing else. Sometimes the weight of seeing gets in the way of being able to see. Maybe that’s why some eyes are closed and some words are left unfinished. Wasn’t the curtain that landed on Yedikule Kahini’s only eye something like this? : Because sometimes the price of seeing is accepting the darkness!
But what we perceive as darkness is not always absence. Sometimes darkness is the nakedest form of reality.
Strange times we are in.
Everyone says they are looking for truth. But for some reason it gets harder everyday to find the right person. Because man is no longer after the truth, but only the truth.
Voices rise, arguments grow; but truth often blows in that noise, disappears.
Maybe that’s why people sometimes get the following verses:
The truth does not scream,
It walks in the heart like a delicate needle.
Many seek Him,
but few are like him.
it’s easy to be right,
Everybody spreads their word to the world.
It’s hard to be realistic,
because man judges himself first.
The voice rising through history at this very point is Socrates’ student, Aristotle’s teacher;
Eflatun comes to mind.
Mind that follows the tracks of truth. A philosopher who says that people are satisfied with shadows and looks at the images falling on the wall of the cave and questions the life we think is real.
He tells us beyond the past tense:
“A wise man speaks because he has something to say;
ignorant speaks because he has to say something. ”
Elsewhere, it explains a person’s delusion in one sentence:
“No one does evil on purpose; people do wrong because they don’t know the truth! ”
Maybe this is why silence for Eflatun was not a lack, but a knowledge. Because sometimes the way to the truth is not through talking, but through learning to be silent.
Today’s calendars show March 8.
We talk again, we follow show age
Flowers will be given in most places today, congratulatory messages will be written.
But one has to go through another question:
Is Women’s Day really a day of celebration?
Or is this an awareness day to remember for the women who have been murdered, silenced, taken from midlife?
Because some days are not celebrated.
Just to remember and make you think.
Maybe the thing to do today is not talk too much. In this noisy age, taking a moment to pause, lower your voice, and offer a silent tribute for the women who are deprived of our lives.
Not just for one day,
for a life time…
And yet…
The weather is sunny today.
Maybe this is why hope is still possible.
Because every morning the sun rises to remind us of this.
“No matter how big the darkness, light will always find a way back. “
And maybe that’s why the priest was silent.
Not because it’s told, but because it’s understood.
Because sometimes the truth is not in words,
that heavy thing that grows inside man lives in silence.
Have a nice Sunday to everybody….”
