Have you ever regretted reading a book — which one and why?
WordPress asks many questions. Most reminding me of Toastmaster “Table topics” oratory club I was a member for a long time.
Sometimes, actually, at the beginnings that looked interesting, challenging, worthy thinking, and replying to. After sometime, for me that sometime happened in the second year, one starts to be fed up of all those nonsense questions that are most probably used to collect human intelligence reactions and fill the big data with it, thus making those who collect it more profitable and they think more powerful…
So, behind all of that is money and more serious a project of controling society. The system in place produces many scholars with nicely designed diplomas and very few minded people. The system in place is implanting suggestions. One of those implants are different questions that consciously or subconsciously manage to make you have an opinion that they want you to have, thinking that it is your own.
One of those questions that gives a lot of information to those collecting information is this
“Have you ever regretted reading a book — which one and why?”
This question immediately makes you think that some books are for regret and some are not!
So, if you trust those “book critics” who will say that they regret reading this and that book, you will deprive yourself of having your own experience when you read the book!
Have you ever thought about how the best-selling books scale is made? Who is the one advertising it? Why? How?
I have never trusted best-selling or regrettable scales ….
I always wanted me to be the judge of that, so I read all the books I wanted… Esspecialy those that are not so popular or are advertised in the way to make you doubt the worth of it.
What I learned is that all books have something that will make you learn a new. So, any book is worthy reading. All the books are dealing with matter, information, and measure. So, if you are patient, you will learn from any book!
When you start, you should finish reading a book and then regret it or not. I must confess that I never regret reading any book. From some, I got more from some less, but from all, I definitely got something memorable. Even those that are written to manipulate I learned about techniques and methods of how that is done….
Just a food for thought….
