“We are living in a very dangerous age in which insatiably greedy men are prepared to sacrifice anybody’s health and tranquillity to satisfy their on insatiable greed for money and power. “
It is not the recent quote if we see it with the eyes of today’s imposed worldview, but in the cosmic view, it is the quote that was shared with us just a millisecond ago.
The author whose name you will find at the end, shared one of his experiences that is going into the core of how many of us understand the world and that the politics are more fundamental then economics, he got challenged by one of his students who already had a doctorate degree ( you will understand what the PhD was doing there when I reveal the name of the professor). The issue was what is more important – “Guns or Butter,” using the the slogan of Nazis. So the conversation went as follows: “I asked him, “If you and I were together in a locked room with a sub-machine gun on one side and a million dollars on the other side, and you were given the first choice, which of these objects would you choose?” He answered, “I would take the million dollars.” When I asked, “Why?,” he replied, “Because anyone would sell the gun for a lot less than a million dollars.” “You don’t know me,” I retorted, “because if I got the gun, I’d leave the room with the money as well!”
If Germans knew it and got the Danish Butter with their Guns, imagine how insatiably greedy people reacted when they realize that selling war is the most lucrative business as it “helps” everything, enabling them and that few around them to get rich and powerful.
These short quotations are from the late Professor of Georgetown University Carroll Quigley( 1910-1977).
Between many other remarkable thoughts he left with us let me say that his holistic world view method can help us to contemplate what is necessary and what important. Do not be of those who never thinks of something while it has that and starts thinking only when it stays without. Like oxygen and like security. Think about it and read Professors Quigley writings. Have you ever thought about what is necessary and what is important for you?
And at the end of this post there is a message which all new teachers should engrave in their mind and together with their integrity never loose! If that happens the world will be much better place, if not paradise! It is crucial for our civilization survival!
“Teaching is one way we can do a little good in the world….. The task is important, the challenge so great, and the possibilities for improvement and for variation as infinite that is the most demanding and most difficult of human activities. Even a virtuoso violinist can be made to order easier than a good teacher.”
A good teacher will show you how solutions can be found and applied by holistic methods “seeking diversity, decentralization, communities…”
Todays system has so-called “specialist” that can not find ” a coconut at the coconut island” but they are all teaching us how we should spend our time on the Earth! Tragic and very dangerous, as you can see from the events that are happening now and project the ones that are being prepared! Will you accept it? All this is the product of their world view, as they are unable to see the world in holistic way. Even the medicine is full of different specialists who do not cure the causes but are treating the consequences!
And really, ALL IS UP TO US! Not up to anyone spreading fear, but just and only up to us!
