However, Historia magistra vitae est, the History IS the teacher of life. In what way you might ask, having in mind that the history we learn is washed and blow dried. Then to camouflage it more, beautiful make up is applied and first class cologne used. Then prepared as a model today’s history is presented to the wide audience. Than what happens? Well, many of us are not taught to question things. We prefer to follow stereotypes, myths and legends. We do not ask for common-sense explanations. Additionally, some are simply afraid to ask not to lose the social standing, while others just do not care. Because of this, that beautifully made up model called history becomes a stereotype. And then when you try to open the eyes of fellow human beings, by removing make up to reveal the real truthful, natural face, you encounter a barrier! The effort feels like hitting a wall. Maybe I am hitting the wall now, and again! But does not matter. What it matters is for journey towards the truth to continue. I know that the obstacles are all around and have many faces. But still I continue exposing stereotypes and not asking anyone to accept it because I said so! NOOOOO! What I wish is that some will start finding out the truth by themselves using this site, those words, below shared books as inspiration.

So to fight stereotypes we have books! Those that have been removed from the shelves, hidden, and are hard to find. Those that so many of us do not know that they exist!
