What makes you feel nostalgic?
I really do not know if we as a civilization took the right turning on the road of existence.
Now, as the year 2025 just passed, we also settle accounts.
We lived to see prosperity as we thought it was. We are living to see more of the announced prosperity coming around the corner. Mostly technological.
What I miss and what is making me nostalgic is the reduction of beautiful minds!
Minds with vision and compassion, with faith and hope!
Minds where word ignorance does not exist in vocabulary.
Minds projecting universal love and the truth.
Minds that do not care for “I” but sacrifice for “us”!
Minds that inspire and follow basic human values. Not by words but by deeds.
Minds that are open to learn, who accept mistakes, who cry and smile.
Minds with soft hearts and pure souls.
Minds that lead and not rule.
Minds curious and courageous.
Minds humble!

And I am in need to mention one of those beautiful minds. She lived on this earth, with us, for only 17 years!
Her name was Elisabeth Kulmann ( July 5, 1808 – November 19, 1825). This is what she left to remind us…..about how little our needs are. It makes us think about what causes us to lose ourselves in the infinite struggle for wants!
