From the experience about the history of ex Yugoslavia one becomes very intriguing. Namely Slovenia was the first Republic of Yugoslavia which declared independence! After that Yougoslavia started to dissolve. Some years took for Yugoslavia to cease to exist! Now we hear that the referendum will be held about Slovenian membership in, noooot Yugoslavia this time, but NATO!
Slovenian people always had a feeling how to protect their back side of the body.
Do not forget that they warmly welcomed Hitler in Maribor in 1941.
That just shows how Slovenians have very sharp survival instincts so this will be an interesting event to watch.
