Are you ready? “What covers you discovers you.”

Who is the fictional character you relate to the most?

Don Quixote!

Don is the character made by the greatest Spanish writer, Miguel de Cervantes. The first part was published in 1605 and second in 1615. It took 10 years for Miguel to accumulate wisdom and transfer it to the readers through his immortal character, Don Quixote!

I will not explain too much but will leave with you some quotes that I hope you will find challenging and inspirational. The notes that would tickle your curiosity to read this unique work! And take notes!

So let me start

“For neither good nor evil can last for ever; and so it follows that as evil has lasted a long time, good must now be close at hand.”

And it was the beginning of 17th century! Are we still waiting? Or it.is happening in front of our eyes?

“Freedom, Sancho, is one of the most precious gifts that heaven has bestowed upon men; no treasures that the earth holds buried or the sea conceals can compare with it; for freedom, as for honour, life may and should be ventured; and on the other hand, captivity is the greatest evil that can fall to the lot of man.”

“Bear in mind, Sancho, that one man is no more than another, unless he does more than another.”

Beware if you are narcissist…

“Only make yourself honey and the flies will suck you.”

Can this be truth?

“That is the nature of women,” said Don Quixote. “They reject the man who loves them and love the man who despises them.”

And last but not at all the least

“Where one door shuts, another opens.”
