Now, let’s see what word routine means

1.commonplace tasks, chores, or duties as must be done regularly or at specified intervals; typical or everyday activity

2. the routine of an office.regular, unvarying, habitual, unimaginative, or rote procedure.

3. an unvarying and constantly repeated formula, as of speech or action; convenient or predictable response

4. Don’t give me that brotherly-love routine!

As far as one can recall, the “routine” of another CIA chief visiting Moscow has happened in 2021. Then, “Nikolai Patrushev, the secretary of Putin’s Security Council, met CIA Director William Burns in Moscow months before Russian forces invaded Ukraine. Burns later met Sergei Naryshkin, the head of Russia’s foreign intelligence agency, in Turkey in November 2022 to warn Russia not to deploy a nuclear weapon in Ukraine.”

So, this does not come under the word “routine” explanation.

So, if it was not routine, then it was to use one of the word routine antinyms, an extraordinary visit.

But if President Trump said it was extraordinary, more very dangerous eyebrows would be rising. So it shows that it was extremely important to play down the visit.

Another important thing is to be understood. Each CIA director works for the USA President. Not the electorate. Of course, sometimes, when those are pissed off, they might work very seriously against the president… Look at the conspiracy theory of November 22, 1963, and Dalas, Texas.

So if it was not routine, but it was extraordinary, it coincidentally came at the time of the visit of Vatican foreign minister, who, apart from foreign minister Lavrov also visited the Russian Bishop in charge of external contacts…
