Very interesting timing.
Just got informed that a memorial plaque dedicated to East German spymaster and anti-fascist Markus Wolf was unveiled in Moscow on September 17, 2026
It can be found at Nizhny Kislovsky Lane, No. 8, near the Arbat district in central.
Mr. Wolf lived at this building with his family from 1934 to 1945 after they fled Nazi Germany.
The unveiling was attended by Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Director Sergei Naryshkin, veterans, and sculptors, accompanied by a guard of honour and a brass band.

Mr. Wolf was a long serving head of East German Foreign Intelligence and a man who did not fave any charges after the unification of Germany.

The timing is important as it comes after Russia shut down the German Cultural Centre in Sankt Peterbrough….
It was interesting for me when I was visiting a STASI headquarters in Berlin, now a museum, that only one photo of Mr.Wolf was presented. When I asked where we could see his office, the man from museum looked at me like I came from Mars. It was a look that I will always remember. By the way Mr. Wolf was a mastermind in planting sleepers from East to West Germany. His files were never found…
To be continued, especially in my upcoming book Conspiracy Practitioners.
