Better Be Kind

We are all going to the same destination

I am sharing below short video taken at the the carved Naidrio of Saint Theodoros above which there is a new church built in 1994. It is located in the area of the Dali village near Nicosia, Cyprus.

A few meters below, next to the cave in which an ascetic must have lived, remains of an older basilica are preserved.

Saint Theodore, the Saint who lived as an ascetic in this cave, was one of the 300 Alaman Saints who left Palestine after the fall of Acre and dispersed to Cyprus in groups and pairs leading an ascetic life, usually in caves. In fact, given the fact that a few kilometers to the northeast is the cave of Agios Sozomenos Alamanos and to the west, in the village of Nisos, the cave of Agios Eutychios, it is assumed that the third member of this ascetic triad who communicated at times, but mainly traveled alone, is Agios who asceticized in the area where the church of Saint (Agios)Theodoros is located, in the Trahana area. It is important, however, that for years, knowing or not details about the Saint’s life, the area was a place of worship for the residents of the area, who did not fail to go to the place every Easter Thursday and honor the Saint with an open-air Divine Liturgy.

It is easy to practice empathy and compassion when we all fearlessly convey the messages of truth!

Hope we all will find the way to be, again, kind to one another!

Be kind not because they are kind but because you are.. if we spread humanity and compassion to the world, it will be a paradaise. Compassion instead of judgement, Understanding the differences instead of trying to change them. Humbleness instead of arrogance. It doesnt cost any single peny to be kind yet most of us can’t do it.
